OK, this is absolutely my last post before the end of January. I have been forced into this by Rob, so you know who to hold responsible. There are LOTS of recipes for Pavlova. There are LOTS of arguments about the origin of Pavlova. I am not going to rehearse these – but do read if you want to, they are all interesting. I am just going to let you see my very first Pavlova. I have been in NZ for 18 years and in the year I intend to leave I have produced my very first Pavlova, courtesy of Mary Berry. Not only had I never made a Pavlova, I had never eaten one. I am told it was delicious by friends who have wide experience. The recipe follows. You are welcome.
